Wang Leehom 18 Martial Arts Malaysian Showcase 22nd August, 2010

Hi, World!

Wow, look how time flies! 7 days has passed since my all time asian sensation idol came to town.
Leehom the magnificent came for a showcase and autograph session in One Utama new wing on a hot Sunday afternoon. or evening?

I wanted to post these on the day itself before I went to bed that night, but as usual, time does not permit me to do so. OK, I am doing it after 7 days!

As referred below, I have posted some pictures for more interesting reading and browsing.
(as my expert blogger sis advised, having less lines in a paragraph makes your blog easier to read, thanks, H2O! -her inital)

My hubby agreed to take care of our son while I am away, FREE for a few hours with my good friend, LC who went Leehom crazy with me.
(I wanted to change the word FREE to color red, but I might be considered too exagerating as if I needed this breakaway so desperately)

Before the show started, so excited, I can't wait to have his signature on my CD Cover lyrics.
Those other people behind and all around me are all Leehom's Malaysian fan club members.
We are proudly called the Homaniacs.
He's finally arrived! But, my camera cannot zoom and focus clear! How sad!
Another unfruitful attempt, lagi worse! (lagi means more in Malay)

Look at all the hands with cameras!
I am very sure all of them are getting the same results as I am getting...

... poor unclear photos of Leehom, hehe...
The host of the show was Royce Chan from Astro MyFm.
This was my itinery of the event on that day:

1) My friend and I rushed and arrived at the location at 4.30pm, had our dinner which was pretzels, cinnabon & rice crackers, and went in the barricades at 5.30pm.
(the barricades are for Homaniacs only, non-members have to queue in the other space with no priority - sad la, everyone should join as member)

2) We waited patiently for Leehom to show up.
When he finally arrived at 6.30pm., we shouted and yelled crazily. Don't blame me to be so crazy as I missed his last 2 album showcases due to work commitment and son was having fever - my son is more important ok.

3) All of us homaniacs, as usual were given 2nd priority to get our CDs signed first.
(1st priority given to VIPs and sponsors
We went up on stage with the lyrics covers in our trembling and sweaty hands, of course, also with sweaty bodies. With well behaved manners, and 1 hour of getting in line, we had our CD lyrics signed with no pushing and dispute.

Not in the itinery:
My mom has told me the day before to be extra careful in such events as potential stampede incidents always bound to happen in crowded places. I asked her why she did not tell me this the last times I went to Leehom's showcases and concerts, she answered, because my age is catching up.blah blah...sigh.. what a sad remark.
Anyway, for your info, Leehom did not shake our hands since the last 2003 SARS pandemic in Asia. Usually, he will sign with his left hand and shake our hands with his right and I remember his hand shakes were rather firm (note the 's' behind the word shake, ahem.. proud of that)

Now, he only makes eye contacts with all his fans while signing.. dissapointed.
One thing I really respect this guy is that he can look at every single one of us while signing the lyrics.
(swear he does that the entire autograph session!, never miss a single one! - ask all those who went to his showcases.)
Imagine how hard to do that when you have to sit up straight and sign at least 20 cds in what, 10 seconds? He had to sign at least 6000-7000 CDs per night. He works like a copier.
He also hurt his hand once after signing 7000 autographs during his Unbelievable Album.
Unbelievable, huh?

OKAY! Back to the itinery:

4) Somehow, when it came to my turn to get his autograph, I saw his eyes looked at me but as he was signing on my lyrics, I heard him saying this to his assistant, " We need to stop for a short while"
Yes, his hands were working, but his mind wanted to stop cause needed to go to the loo.
What!?! I kena jackpot lor! (means I got the jackpot this time) Woo hoo!

I can take this opportunity to snap his photo up close when he uses the stairs to go to his Alphard (of course, not his la, rented car) and drove him to the nearest toilet.

5) So my friend and I went down the stage and waited with our cameras on standby by the stage. Strangely enough, no security guards were there at the time to ask us to leave..hehe..
I was thinking, OK, this time, I am so near to him, he was going to walk down that stairs and pass right in front of me. I will definately be able to snap perfectly clear photos to be posted on this blog.

Somehow or rather .... this was what I got......

<>
The focus was not on him, it was on other things nearer, you know what...
<>
Pity Leehom, it was already unbearable for him, and the people still want to make him talk more...aiaiaiai
Another attempt, I know I have tried very hard, but still can't get it clear enough...my oh my....urggghh!
Was it my camera or my photographing skills???? Still blur?? What luck?
This was the worst ever! I was so near!!
Look what happened when I finally got it clear.. He was hidden from this lady who looks like his manager??

OK, now's the time! He's heading towards us to come down the stairs!!! And SNAP!!!!!!!!!

It is CLEARR!!!!!
But, where did the guy with the walkie talkie come from?????
He was not there a while ago!
And why was the antenna there?? (you know what I mean)
Somehow or rather, I had rather take pictures with his bass player. Look how sharp and clear this photo is.

(the lady on the right is our Homaniacs President, Joanne)
Royce is a nice and funny guy. I like him a lot. But, if only this is Leehom..sigh
 Moral of the story:

1) Make yourself queue after few hundreds of people to see if you have any chance at all to see him wanting to go to the loo.

2) Snap photos with the local celebrities if you don't have any nice photos to post on your blog.
They are much clearer and easy to focus and snap!!!!

Hope this entertained you!

Happy Merdeka Day!!

Son is crying during sleep every night

Hi World!

Wow, it has been a day and night since I last posted my first blog. I am kinda proud of it as this is my daily ( I hope so that I can do this every night) personal diary to the world hehe (if there are readers out there who do not find this BORING!!!)  ( The boring stuffs are the ones that excites me the most!!! - taken from Russell's script from the Disney's movie, UP)

To tell you the truth, I do not find this boring as I tend to kinda like writing on my laptop after everyone is asleep. My sis always telling me that watching TV is a great waste of time. Writing blogs like this really enhances ownself creativity and expressing out what is in ones mind. That is true, especially when everyone is in their beds and I am alone in the living room enjoying the peacefulness and the silence I hope I had for the last 22 months.

Well, 22 months ago, my only son said hello to the world and soon after, both of us (who else, my hubby and I) can hardly enjoy peacefulness we had before. I can understand the insufficient of sleep during the 'baby times'. Yes, with the midnight feeding, the midnight cry, the midnight poo, the midnight baby talk, you name them.... But, I could not understand the midnight crying and whining at 22 months old. Yeah, everyone has been telling me to feed him, give some water to wet his mouth, carry him, sing to him, etc. (Sometimes singing his favorite tune like Nobody by the Wonder Girls in my own slow and sleepy version does work and makes him ZLEEPY - you should try if yours cries too).
Well, I have done all that stuff but still ...sigh..
Usually, the crying lasts only for a few seconds (like a bad dream kinda cry), but that could make you wake up and stay awake for the rest of your bedtime for that night.

Well, now you know why the late night blog posting.hehe

So, at least this blog today reminds me the hardship my mom had with me when I was younger.

I will tell you more about where I am from in my next post. Hope that will interests someone!!!

Please refer below, introduction of my son to you, with a crying face. He will be angry with me when he sees this in his adult life. "Of all the handsome photos available, why is mom choosing this one to intro me to the world?"

First time blogging

Hi, World.

Well, if only there are visitors to this blog, I hope that I don't bore anyone and make them click to another sites or blogs which are more interesting.
Mind you, I only know about the meaning of blogging 3 months before. A good friend of mine introduced blogging to me as I was rather curious what blogging is all about. I have been facebooking quite a while now and blogging seemed to be a better choice in terms of shouting out to the world what is in my mind. I have also been motivated and driven by my sister to write and share things to the world. (She has also started blogging herself recently) This is my first time trying out whether it is worth it to share my world with the people outside my world.

Before you get to know me better, please get to know my language ability. My English is, well, I should describe as 'Half a pail of water', direct translated from a chinese proverb. I might say, only a certain people will understand my language. If you are unsure of what I mean, or you need to correct me, you are very much welcomed to do that for me to improve. It will be a pleasure to have some help from outside my world.

After this first post, I will try to continue writing and post pictures which captures my heart.
Well, guess this is it! I am going to click on the post button now!!!!

Let's start blogging!!!!!
